Texas fuel prices at the pump are expected to jump to 4 dollars a gallon by summer. The summer demand is due to refineries summer maintenance and the switch to summer blends. 2.87 is the Texas average now. It’s 22 cents higher than last month. 2 reasons attributed to higher prices now are the rise in crude oil prices plus violence in the Middle East has shipments taking other longer routes for delivery.
