New street lights in Ingram

New street lights coming to Ingram according to the West Kerr Current. The West Kerr County Chamber of Commerce will purchase the lights and the City of Ingram will take care of the monthly light bill. Gaylyn Dieringer, chamber board member has been working on the light project for 3 years. 12 LED lights are wanted. The Chamber of Commerce will start with 6 lights with the next 6 lights coming later. Solar lights were considered but they are costlier to purchase and to maintain. The LED lights are approved by KPUB and are Dark Sky friendly. (stock photo)
