A Ten-thousand dollar contribution for the new inclusive playground at Guadalupe Park in Kerrville is made by the Yellow Out Campaign. This donation supports fund raising goals to install a wheelchair-accessible playground designed to serve children of all abilities. According to Ashlea Boyle, Director of Parks and Recreation. “Their generous donation is a meaningful step toward creating a safe, welcoming space where children of all physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities can play and thrive. The Houston-based Yellow Out Campaign, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for spina bifida and promoting inclusion for people of all abilities. The organization was founded by Reaghan Velasquez, a 2023 graduate of Schreiner University.
