Kerr County VSO seeking combat boots

Combat boots needed for a special display for a 2025 Memorial Day Program. In Kerr County. Local military veterans who still have a pair of combat boots on hand are being asked to loan them to the Kerr County Veterans Service Office. The Veterans Service Officer Jenna Sanchez is needing 88 pair of combat boots. They are for a memorial honoring all the Kerr County service members who have died in service in conflicts from present-day and dating back to World War I. The boots will be placed in formation near the Kerr County War Memorial on Memorial Day 2025. The boots will be returned to their rightful owners. Call the Kerr County VSO at 830-792-2203 or drop them off at the office in Suite 107, 550 Earl Garrett Street  Monday through Thursday.
