Kerr County Sheriff’s Office warns citizens of another credit card scam. The latest scam involves someone calling themselves “Credit Card Services”. These scam callers offer to lower your interest rate if you just give them the 3 digit code on the back of your card. Don’t look Ethel…Hang up! and call your bank or credit card company directly to verify. If they have your stolen card number, those three digits on the back are the last bit of info they need to clean out your debit account or run up a large credit card bill.
