Kendall Co Fair Assn President used his firm to do the welding on collapsed bleachers

According to the class action lawsuit against the Kendall County Fair Association, the President may have used his firm to do the work on the bleachers that collapsed according to expressnews.com.  According to a class action lawsuit that was filed against the non-profit association, President Shane Boerner used companies he is associated with to do the welding work on the bleachers at the arena at the Kendall County Fairgrounds that collapsed last August. Several people were hurt, one person died of their injuries. After an investigation by Boerne officials, no criminal charges will be filed. An engineering report highlighted a weakness in the welding which caused the bleachers to collapse.
