Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in apprehension of an armed robber from Junction this past Sunday morning. Kerr County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched near the Kimble/Kerr County line to assist Kimble County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of the robber. The suspect fled on IH-10 East in a white semi-truck and trailer that was stolen out of California. Kerr County deputies initiated a stop of the truck near Comfort. Although, the driver pulled over in response to officer commands, he continued to flee towards Kendall County. Deputies from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office deployed spike strips, deflating the front tires of the truck. The driver crossed the median continuing on the eastbound frontage road. Then lost control north of Boerne and collided into the Lockaway Storage facility. Deputies recovered the cash drawer from the robbery. Eric Lee Hudson, 42, of Stafford, Texas was arrested and booked into the Kerr County Jail. He was charged for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, and Theft. Bond has not been set.
