George Strait suffers another loss. On Wednesday, hours after Erv Woolsey, George Strait’s Manager died. George’s fiddle player dies. Gene Elders, of Strait’s backing band Ace in the Hole passed away of unknown causes. Strait said he would never be the same. Elders was part of the Ace in the Hole Band since 1984. He was also a composer and session player for other bands. Besides the fiddle Elders played mandolin.
