Early voting for municipal elections is Monday April 22nd in Fredericksburg. The Girl Scout Cabin on West Austin Street is the early voting site. On the ballot are incumbent Mayor Jeryl Hoover challenged by Timothy Ellis Riley, two incumbent City Council members running unopposed. Also, Fredericksburg residents are voting on 23 amendments to the city charter. Some of the amendments are to bring the wording of the charter up to code. One amendment raises the pay of the mayor and city council members. Reports the Standard Radio Post.
