Chinese seed packets

Seed packets from China back in the news. There are several reports of Texas residents receiving the packets when ordering from Chinese vendors. Commissioner Sid Miller of the Texas Agriculture Department or TDA urges caution. He says the seed packs may contain invasive species like Sacred Lotus, an aquatic plant. Accompanying the seeds is an unlabeled liquid which has been identified as a nutrient solution.  If you received a packet of these seeds, don’t open them and contact the TDA.
