Center Point starts school Monday 8.19.24

Center Point ISD starts school this morning. Watch your speed in the school zones. The use of Cell Phones is prohibited in school zones unless you are on a hands-free device or at a complete stop. Be aware of children waiting for the school bus. Be patient. And obey the school bus laws of if the lights are flashing do not be passing. The first offense for passing a stopped school bus is a $1,000 dollar fine in Municipal Court. The ticket is ineligible for discharge through a drivers’ safety course.
