Another structure lost to fire over the weekend in Center Point according to the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department. Vehicles were also consumed in the fire. Center Point VFD with other responding units from Turtle Creek VFD, Comfort VFD and Kerrville Fire Department worked into the early morning hours battling the blaze. The dispatch came at 9pm Saturday night, by 4:30 AM the fire was out. One Fire Fighter was treated for heat exhaustion. Also assisting were Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, EMS Med 3 and Bandera Electric. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. No report of fatalities or the name of the residents has been released.
