Bandera City leaders are still not in agreement with the Stage 5 water restrictions set by the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District. Reports the Bandera Prophet. The city attorney says the council doesn’t have leeway to oppose the BCRAGD according to statutory authority. The city could possibly face fines for non-compliance. Their drought contingency plan is from last year. City Council want to amend the plan and abate enforcement.
