Don’t Mess with Bandera’s Recycling program is facing a short-term crisis. They don’t have anyone to run the baling machine. About 17 tons of plastic bottles and aluminum cans are sorted and waiting to be baled before they can be shipped off. All collection bins are full, and more cardboard continues to come in. The organization asking the commissioners court to help get the baling done. The court is looking for a licensed baler as the county is shorthanded and can’t spare the manpower to help.
