Bandera County lightning strike fires

Bandera County had several fires caused by lightning strikes on Sunday afternoon. Area VFD’s were busy in Tarpley, Wharton’s Dock, Old Castroville Road and Saddle Ridge. No human injuries were reported. One structure burned down. A cat was transported to a vet for burned paws. Reports the Bandera Prophet.
