Attitude of Gratitude. What exactly does that mean? To me it is making it a routine to express thankfulness, appreciation in everything you do. In all aspects of life. No matter how big or how small. Give thanks. For me personally I am very quick to say Thank you in the moment, but not as quick to send the Thank you note and extend, express more than the instant simple thank you. Thank you's do often get sent, but not timely enough. I apologize for that.
For the most part it is human nature to want more. Want more out of life. This has its up and downs. Set goals, work to achieve them and then set more. Set expectations, don't lower your standards. But never count out the simple things of life. It doesn't mean to constantly seek more in everything, dwell on having more and push aside the things you have in front of you. Be thankful for the things in your life, both great and small.
For the month of November, I want to share with you something I am thankful for everyday. Big or small. But beyond that I want to fill my heart with thankfulness and show it in more than just words. I am also extending this challenge to you. Buy someone coffee. Pay for someone's gas. Send a handwritten letter. Bring your coworker lunch. Take a friend to dinner. Reach out to old friends who may have made a positive impact on you at some point in life. Thank them. Forgive those who harmed you. Wake up in the morning thinking about all the things you DO have and appreciate them.
"Where your thoughts are, your actions will follow."
Express Gratitude and give thanks.
